Free $40,000 Accident Insurance

All financial members of the SDA are automatically covered for a sum of up to $40,000 in the case of death, total and permanent incapacity to work, breaking of bones, loss of limbs, sight or hearing by violent, external means outside working hours*.

If you had to take out this policy yourself it would cost you around $190 a year. As a member of the SDA it costs you nothing.
