Benefits

The SDA is the largest union in Australia and as such we can offer a broad range of services and benefits for our members in addition to looking after your wages and working conditions.
 
Our Bag of Benefits comprises a range of deals which have been directly negotiated by the SDA with various service providers to give members special offer and discounted rates on a range of activities and services such as:

• leisure, entertainment and accommodation;
• financial services;
• educational benefits; and
• health and wellbeing services.

In addition the SDA has a special partnership with Where To Enjoy which allows us to offer our members a further comprehensive range of discounts and benefits.  Many of these special offers are available by presentation of the SDA membership card.  Other deals operate on a voucher system.  These vouchers are contained in our members handbook or from time to time published in The Shop Assistant.

Financial members of the SDA receive a membership card together with a members' handbook once per year in December.
