I organise the outer south eastern region covering an area which stretches from Berwick through to Seaford.

Prior to joining the SDA as an Organiser I worked in the retail industry for 15 years and I saw the value in becoming a member of the Union whilst I was working in the industry.

It was when I needed assistance from the Union that I came into close contact with some of the SDA Officials and thus gained an insight into the workings of the SDA and a strong interest in working for the Union.

I was lucky enough to be offered work as a Casual Organiser in 2004 which led to work as an Information Officer in the office and then to a full-time Organising role.

I really love the challenges of working as an SDA Organiser and I enjoy standing up for my members’ rights in disputes with the employers.
