International Womens Day Award Goes to Bernadette Arathoon

The SDA held its annual International Women’s Day breakfast in March, with Deputy Premier James Merlino one of our many important guests.

Our International Women’s Day Award for 2017 was awarded to Bernadette Arathoon.

Bernadette has been a member at Woolworths Glenhuntly since 1987, and has been an SDA Delegate for a large part of that time.

Bernadette is loved by SDA members, loved by customers and highly respected by management.

She is an experienced Delegate who always promotes the SDA, and who resolves workplace issues for the members with experience and charm.

You can guarantee that if a Union meeting is taking place, Bernadette will be there.

Bernadette has been an elected member of the SDA Victorian Branch Conference for many years and a member of SDA State Council since 2014.

Bernadette shared the event with family members Ron Braganza, Ann Braganza and Charles Braganza.

Congratulations Bernadette!
